The Event Zero Event Processing Network was designed from the foundation up, to provide Operational Intelligence across a wide variety of enterprise systems, devices, sensors, external systems and human activities.

It is unique in its ability to collect from a large range of sources and process massive amounts of event data. Non-invasive, rapid deployment of the EPN results in a short time to value.

The Event Zero EPN platform allows businesses to easily tap into existing event sources, perform real-time analysis, and provide valuable operational Intelligence for critical elements of the business.

The three main compotents to the EPN are:-

• Capture
  Data is captured from the edge, filtered, converted to native events, and enriched for transport to the CEP engine. Additional optimization/encryption may be performed for WAN transport.
  
• Process
  Events are archived, analyzed for complex event patterns, and summarized using flexible CEP rules. New higher-order events may be generated as a result of CEP rule execution.
  
• Respond
  Events and state changes are published to users and applications through the response framework. Events are made available to external applications via the publish/subscribe API. Additionally, users and applications can be notified via the event push outbound adapters (email, SMS, SOAP, http, etc).
